My husband is a good sport when it comes to paint color on the inside of our house. He has never told me no to a color. His motto is ‘paint is cheap’ so 15 years ago when I wanted the dining room painted red, we went for it.
This is the first room we painted when we bought the house 15 years ago. We had no idea what we were doing. NO IDEA. And we did a terrible job. We have lived with it for 15 years.
So much repair work. Spackling. Sanding. Covering the red with a fresh new coat of much lighter color.

I, too, follow the “paint is cheap” mantra. I love the red, but sometimes, change is good! I look forward to seeing what that change look like in your dining room! 🙂

Ha…I persuaded my husband to paint our bathroom that color. He hated painting it and the results. He told me every chance he could until he repainted it a mint green! Happy painting! Can’t wait to see the new color.
Ooh – what will the new colour be? We also believe in “paint is cheap” but I’ve added “but painting takes a while.” Which explains that one room at the back of the house…
